Under their 'Adopt a Patient' initiative, underprivileged cancer patients from the Cama & Albless Mother and Child Hospital are supported for all their cancer-related treatments, i.e., chemotherapy/radiation therapy, etc. Other needy cancer patients who submit the 'Financial Assistance Form' at their office can also be considered.

Treatment Fund by Indian Cancer Society

(a) Initiation Fund is given to poor patients towards initial costs of diagnosis at the Cancer Hospital. An amount of Rs.15,000/- is given to the hospital so that the patient can undergo all the required initial tests for diagnosis. (b) Treatment Fund is given to poor patients so that certain part of their cancer treatment costs gets covered.


Childhood Leukaemia & Lymphoma Foundation (CLLF)

CLLF helps under-privileged children diagnosed with Leukemia and Lymphoma with financial aid so that proper diagnosis and long-term treatment can be carried out.


Cancer Cure Fund of Indian Cancer Society (ICS)

Investors of HDFC Mutual Fund's closed-end scheme “HDFC Debt Fund for Cancer Cure” receive the principal amount back at the end of the scheme's tenure of 3 years and the return is donated to the Indian Cancer Society's Cancer Cure Fund. ICS uses this to fund to sanction Rs 3 lakh to Rs 4 lakh per patient towards treatment. The Mutual Fund donates an amount equivalent to the returns so that ICS receives an amount that is double that of the returns.


Breast Cancer Patients Benefit Foundation

They seek to provide timely and subsidized/free treatment to impoverished cancer patients all over India, irrespective of caste, color, creed or racial origin. In addition to breast cancer, funds may be allocated to other cancers too.
